Employment Mission
Requirements
- Regularly patrol the site to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Keep detailed logs and complete reports as required.
- Stand post and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Access control to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Protect evidence or the scene of an incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
- General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
- Respond quickly to critical situations.
- Ability to read and write detailed reports.
- Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications
- Able to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- A valid California BSIS Guard Card
- Candidate must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a driving license.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
- Must be able to handle working with high-volume public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment).
- Ability to provide high-quality security services to protect people and property, while maintaining proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons.
- Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
- Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during the shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check (FBI & DOJ).
- Employment Reference Check.
- Drug Screening.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
